Small Steps to Big Change
Offered as 1 1/2 hour stand-alone talks or 5 week in-depth
series

Do you want to make a change or develop a new habit in an easy, lasting
way? Kaizen is based on the premise that a journey of a thousand miles is
made up of many small steps. The kaizen technique will teach you how to
take small continuous steps in your progress toward self-improvement. In
this class, each participant will identify a goal, learn the components of
the kaizen method, and put them into practice over five weeks.
5 week series includes:
Taking Small Steps, Asking Small Questions, Mindsculpting, Celebrating
Small Successes, and Keeping the Momentum
Taking Small Steps for Big Change

Yoga for Your Brain
6 week in-depth class series

Based in the science of how people think, this class draws on current
research to show you easy, practical ways to get more from your mind.
Learn how to harness the power of your brain to get the results you want
in life, including changing habits, staying focused and motivated, and
accessing creativity.
Whole Mind Decision-Making
2 hour workshop

Are you having a hard time committing to a decision about something? Learn
to tap the wisdom of your whole mind—conscious, unconscious, and beyond
conscious (intuition)—to make decisions in alignment with your highest
good. You’ll leave with more information, decisions you feel good about,
and the tools to use with future decisions.
Cultivating Gratitude in 5 Minutes a Day
Offered as 1 1/2 hour intro talk or 5 week in-depth class
series

Robert Emmons wrote, “In gratitude we say yes to life.” Recognizing and
appreciating small blessings is a powerful tool that can increase joy,
contentment, and life satisfaction. In this 5 week class, we’ll use small
steps to savor the gifts we receive every day and focus our attention on
moments of happiness.

Small Steps to Cultivating Resilience
Offered as 1 1/2 hr intro talk or 4 week in-depth class
series

Learn how to maintain a sense of calm and stability, and even find the
silver lining, in the midst of chaos. Resilience is the ability to bounce
back after a disruption our lives. In this 4 week class, we’ll explore
easy ways to build our resilience, just a few minutes at a time.
Small Steps to Making Friends with Your Body
Offered as 2 hour intro talk or 4 week in-depth class
series

Do you feel disconnected from or betrayed by your body? Do you spend most
of your time in your head? In this class we'll explore small ways to get
reacquainted and make friends with your body.
Small Steps to Managing Stress
1 1/2 hour intro talk

This class introduces a new framework for understanding our busy minds and
presents tools for de-stressing. You’ll learn easy, practical techniques
for reducing stress that only take a few moments.
Small Steps to Quieting Your Mind
5 week series

If you have trouble turning off your mind so you can relax and go to
sleep, or you want to learn about being more present in the moment, this
5-week series is for you. We’ll explore a variety of techniques for
relaxing, slowing down a racing mind, and
de-stressing in small, easy
